What I'm looking forward to

**This is the 2nd part to my post just before so please read it along with the previous one ;) I'll have uploaded it along with it but there was some weird-ass error so I have to upload in 2 parts sigh )):

Anyway,  Dad's been asking me to search for the Orlando Disneyland attractions cos we're going there when we go USA and I finally got around to doing it today! Just wanted to share what attractions there are going to be and it really looks quite exciting!!  Can't wait wheehee~ ( warning: lengthy post ahead!)

First up, some cool attractions at Orlando Disneyland:

#1 SPACE MOUNTAIN:

Description given on website:
Blast off on an intergalactic adventure at Space Mountain, a classic attraction in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom park. From the glow-in-the-dark Space Port, board one of 2 rocket-shaped, 3-seater vehicles—and hold on tight for a rip-roarin' ride through the farthest reaches of space and time.
Your journey begins with a steady climb up a 180-foot mountain, passing the Mission Control booth and an array of pulsating lights along the way. Once at the top, feel the wind race across your face as you're propelled through the remote blackness of the universe—illuminated only by shooting stars, celestial satellites, spinning black holes and shimmering constellations.
Since most of this experience is in the dark, your ride will feel extremely fast—and exciting, since you never know which way you'll turn or drop!
**My thoughts will be in red :
Sounds really fun!! I love rides in the dark :D
#2: SPLASH MOUNTAIN
Description:
On Splash Mountain, Gotta Be Movin' On
Say goodbye to Br'er Rabbit; he's leaving his home in search of a little more adventure, a bit of fortune and his laughing place—where he can live the life that suits him best.
Watch as he outwits Br'er Bear and Br'er Fox, escapes their clutches and slips out of sticky situations. Plummet into dark caves and tumble over gentle waterfalls… until Br'er Rabbit's taunting catches up to him—and he's finally caught!
From the confines of Br'er Fox's cave at the top of Chickapin Hill on Splash Mountain, Br'er Rabbit tricks Br'er Bear and Br'er Fox one more time. Don't throw me down, down, down into the briar-brimmed pond, he pleads. Anyplace but there!
Of course, this is exactly what they do. Follow him as he plummets over the mountain peak on a 5-story (52.5 feet) fall that ends in a massive splashdown into the refreshing pond: Br'er Rabbit's home, his laughing place.
After this ultimate plunge, drift past more southern critters aboard a lively Mississippi riverboat. Sing along with them, for it's a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day! Everyone has a Laughing Place—maybe Splash Mountain is yours.

Whoohoo water rides!! And Br'er characters!! I loved reading that book when I was younger and the adventures of smart Br'er Rabbit really amused me to no end :) Not really looking forward to that 'ultimate plunge' though, gonna get WET WET WET!!

#3 HAUNTED MANSION
Description:
The Haunted Mansion is a spooky tour of an ominous haunted house in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom theme park, where a supernatural Ghost Host introduces you to his closest 999 dearly-departed friends.
Don't worry—too much. While Haunted Mansion contains some mildly frightening subject matter, there is no gore, the ghostly residents are friendly and the experience is appropriate for all ages.
Enter the mysteriously well-maintained exterior of an 18th-century mansion and find yourself in an ornate estate where anything can happen—and often does. Walking past the entrance foyer and into the ghostly portrait chamber, the air cools and the sense of dread begins to grow. Suddenly, you realize that you are in a room with no windows and no doors!
Moving along, you board a "Doom Buggy" and begin your supernatural journey. Your Ghost Host takes you through several dusty rooms, where you can see eerie signs of ethereal awakening. Soon, you encounter the mansion's resident medium, Madame Leota, who invokes the mansion's ghost and ghouls to show themselves.
What follows has to be seen to not be believed, but suffice to say that you've never before seen the dead so lively. The conclusion is definitely more merry than scary, but the sight of wraiths and skeletons—even of the kindest constitution—is something you're sure to remember as long as you live.
And maybe a bit longer.
OHMIGAWD. HAUNTED MANSION!!! Watched that show when I was younger and I liked it! Love spooky stuff too so I'm definitely looking forward to this. May it make up to me being unable to go USS Halloween Horror Night this year. Ok now I'm really egg-cited...
#4: PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN
Desciption:
Pirates of the Caribbean, a classic attraction in Magic Kingdom theme park that appeals to big kids, teens and adults, features a 14-foot drop over a waterfall into pirate caves. The boat then floats through a town where pirates are pillaging and Captain Jack Sparrow is hiding.
The Pirates of the Caribbean journey begins at the end of the Adventureland area where a skeleton pirate sits in a crow's nest attached to a ship's mast. He guards the stately Spanish fortress, El Castillo - Torre del Sol. Pass under his black sail and pirate flag to the cool, covered, cavernous queue quarters. If ye be seekin' adventure, climb aboard a boat.
Pirates of the Caribbean Sack the Spanish Main
Take heed: there may be rough waters ahead. Or at least a quick plunge over a 14-foot waterfall! Land in the middle of a pirate battle. The Wicked Wench galleon blasts canons under the direction of Captain Barbossa, who demands the capture of Captain Jack Sparrow. Can you spot Sparrow before his archenemy does?
Around the Pirates of the Caribbean Town
As you meander through the town, keep a look out for Captain Jack Sparrow. He's on the lookout for the treasure map, the key to the town's riches—as are the other roguish swashbucklers who are trying to beat him to the booty. Even the town's magistrate, Carlos, can't escape the pirates' inquisition. He gets dunked in the water well while being asked, Where's Cap'n Jack?
Meet more Pirates of the Caribbean as they jauntily sing their theme. "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates Life for Me," they declare as they chase ham-carrying maidens.
In the town being pillaged by the Pirates of the Caribbean, there are rackets and revelry. Chess-playing pirates remain locked in an everlasting moment of stalemate. A mischievous mutt holds the key to release the imprisoned pirates—but he's not giving it up for all the bones in the dungeon. The wenches are wily. A salty marauder hangs his hairy leg over the edge of a bridge. Even the cats are surly. Buildings burn. The town has been plundered. Is this the work of Captain Jack?
Ah, matey, "dead men tell no tales."
I haven't showed my finds to my brother yet but I guarantee 100% that he'll be uber excited about this one. And honestly, so am I! Really loved the movies :D

#5: STITCH'S GREAT ESCAPE
Description:
Stitch's Great Escape! is a zany, madcap show for big kids, teens and adults in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom theme park.
If you are at least 40 inches tall, you can report for duty as a Galactic Federation Security Agent recruit to help guard Experiment 626—also known as Stitch from the Walt Disney Pictures film, Lilo and Stitch.
Take a seat in this theater-in-the-round venue, get strapped in and reside in the midst of the mayhem during this out-of-control, high-energy escapade that will keep you on your toes. Magic Kingdom theme park may not be big enough to contain Stitch, and you never know when and where he will appear next!
Stitch's Great Escape! is a multi-sensory experience featuring audio, video and sophisticated Audio-Animatronic technology. Even your nose gets involved with smells that fill the air during the show!
This show takes place in a darkened theater and there are surprises throughout the performance, which may be scary for younger children.
Hmm. Stitch. Never been a big fan of that show but oh well, everything's worth a try and I know some people who would definitely have liked this segment heheh ;)

Ok on the website there are like 7 whole pages worth of attractions and if I were to write & comment about  them all I will be here till midnight. Of tomorrow. And just looking at the sheer number of attractions already makes my head spin and leaves me thinking that the place must be the size of Singapore to fit all this awesomness!! But then again, its America. And I am DETERMINED to try most of the rides and visit all of the attractions, and we have 2 days to do it :) Feel really blessed that I have awesome parents who take us to all these places. Thanks mommy and daddy!! I'll have fun and treasure the experience and keep the memories, so that the time and money would be worth it<3
On to the next part. The  FOOD!! For what is a holiday without the food ;) Here are just some of the cool-ass dining experiences Orlando Disneyland has to offer:
#1: AKERSHUS ROYAL BANQUET HALL
Description:
Dine with Disney Princesses in a regal setting with soaring ceilings and wooden beams. Meals showcase an assortment of American and Norwegian cold and hot entrees.
This seems really cool. Geared more towards younger kiddos, but still cool. Imagine Snow White/ Cinderella/ Sleeping Beauty waltzing around while you enjoy your meal haha^^
#2: CAPE MAY CAFE
Description:
Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort offers all-you-care-to-eat buffets at breakfast and dinner in a lively, beach-themed restaurant.
Character Dining at Breakfast
Start your day with Goofy and friends at the Beach Club Breakfast Buffet! During this Disney Character Dining experience, delight in a variety of breakfast favorites, including Mickey Waffles, a fresh fruit and yogurt bar, fresh-baked pastries and other favorites.
Seafood Buffet at Dinner
In the evening, feast on a seafood buffet that includes crab legs, mussels and clams freshly steamed center stage, as well as a tantalizing selection of non-seafood dishes such as carved meats, ribs, chicken, seasonal seafood salads and pastas.
As you dine, enjoy the nostalgic New England décor and seaside setting of Disney's Beach Club Resort.

Woah! Imagine breakfast- buffeting with Mickey Mouse and goofy and all those other characters you used to watch on Disney Channel while having your brekkie as a kid!!! It definitely won't come cheap though ( buffets never are) but those mickey mouse waffles sure look tantalising ;)
50's Prime Time Cafe
#3: 50's PRIME TIME CAFE
Description:
50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.
The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.
Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.
TV Tables and Tune-In Lounge
For a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."
Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch.
From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
This 1950s-oldie themed restaurant looks cool as well. I especially like the part where the waitresses would interact with the customers, makes the experience all the more real! And I'll definitely like to try classic American food, what's more while watching TV!! :)

Well I'll only show 3 restaurants out of the many many so that I don't bore the socks off whoever's reading. And these restaurants, while they seem cool and appealing and all, are definitely not cheap so more likely than not we cheapskate Singaporeans would just buy/pack some sandwiches and stare enviously at the rich foreigners dining at these restaurants. haha kidding, it's really up to my parents! :)
Reading all these has gotten me really excited and I just can't wait for next mon night to roll about so we can fly off to this wonderland! Sorry for this long post, I'll blog more about what we REALLY did when I come back.
All packed already :)

PS. i'm making rosti tonight! Mom bought a lot more potatoes O:

KYBEEE~
